About Us

On Newark Avenue in downtown Jersey City, White Eagle Hall occupies a beautifully restored 1910s-era ballroom that somehow manages to feel both grand and intimate at the same time. The balcony wraps close enough to the stage that you can read the setlist from your seat, and the main floor keeps you right in the action, whether you're catching a candlelight concert by flickering flame or going full throttle at a Bingo Loco rave.

The venue earned its 4.7-star reputation one show at a time. Guests consistently note how clean and well-organized the space is, how surprisingly large it feels without losing that cozy, neighborhood-hall warmth. The sight lines are genuinely good from nearly every spot, a rarity in a room this storied.

Beyond ticketed shows, White Eagle Hall hosts weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events inside a space that does the decorating for you. The exposed brick, the soaring ceilings, the vintage bones of the building, they set a mood that no pop-up venue ever could.

What We Offer

White Eagle Hall books an eclectic mix of live music, comedy, dance performances, and immersive experiences that rotate through the calendar year-round. The candlelight concert series has become a signature draw, filling the hall with flickering light and acoustic magic that transforms familiar songs into something genuinely moving.

For private events, the venue offers full-venue buyouts and partial-space rentals. Weddings benefit from the hall's architectural drama, no need to over-decorate when the room already looks like this. Corporate events and milestone celebrations get the same attentive logistics team that keeps ticketed shows running smoothly.

Parking is accessible along Newark Avenue and surrounding streets, and the location sits steps from the Journal Square PATH corridor, making it easy for guests coming in from Manhattan or across Hudson County.

"First time at this venue and very much enjoyed it! We were here 10/26 for a Halloween themed candlelight concert. It was our first of the candlelight concerts but definitely will not be our last. The acoustics in the space were good and the venue is small so there aren't any bad seats. The balcony seemed the best for viewing from above but zone A is awesome for sound quality and the ability to really watch the quartet musicians. The Highline Quartet offer a great array of popular and well known selections that make the concert approachable for anyone! You dont have to love strings or classical music to enjoy the experience. Parking for White Eagle is a little dicey so plan ahead. Its all street parking and there was not much to be had! Doors opened a full hour before the 6p showing so you could arrive, get settled, enjoy a cocktail, and get your photos. Staff was accomodating and gracious. I can't wait to do another! Bravo!"

"I had an incredible time with the group All(H)ours and will never forget. However, the place is just ok. The stage is small for groups of 7 or more members who dance everywhere. They are physically on top of each other. Good thing they are familiar/friends/coworkers. It's just too tight. All(H)ours are professionals and their choreo, visuals, voices, rappers are phenomenal. 1st time seeing them. They made my visit worth it. I hope you can see them during their tour. I hope to see them again. White Eagle is in need of a restroom remodel. It's restroom having a few toilets for a crowd of over 200+ women is too much. Also, the small stage. Seats are ONLY accessible for those with disabilities. I understand. But, why not have seats for the other fans? Standing for hours and hours is frustrating. Sigh. I only come here for the artists that I listen to and enjoy their great music. This is my recent (Feb 13th) experience. Yours may be different."

"Rocked out at Bingo Loco... the hall was nice, clean, and easy to navigate. The hall was bigger than expected but still cozy. I love that the balcony area was not off in space and we could see cleary. Bars upstairs and downstairs. The bartenders were on point and the bathrooms were clean all night. What more could we ask for?"
